This was our last full day in Estes Park, CO. Laura, Rick, Melanie, and Dan all got up early (about 4:30am) to hike to Chasm Lake, and I demanded Laura get a bunch of videos and photos from up there. She did, and she got so much that I’ve yet to sort through them all. I got to work on some more Excel-to-SQL translations (oh, the things I do in my free time) to keep me busy, and waited for the gang to come back.

They all got back, I worked on some more of the vacation video, and then we all loaded up in the cars and went back into Estes Park and visited the shops for a good few hours. Laura picked up some baby Barefoot Chardonnay bottles, we picked up some more beer and souvenir apparel from the Estes Park Brewery and then we trekked back to our campground and had taco night.

Right now I’m getting caught up on some email downloads and we’re all sitting around the camp fire again roasting s’mores. Here’s a brief photo.
